Manchester United
Jose Mourinho's tenure at Manchester United looks to have taken a nasty turn, with the Portuguese manager having trouble once again during his third season at a club. One of Jose's greatest headaches is United's record signing Paul Pogba, who criticised the manager's tactics by calling for a more attacking mindset. This ongoing conflict between two of the Red Devil's most important figures could ultimately cause United to part ways with the former Juventus midfielder who came to the club for a world-record fee of £89 million.
Aaron Ramsey's reputation and brand do not carry nearly the same weight as that of Paul Pogba which could prove favorable for Manchester United. Ramsey is more likely to follow Mourinho's demands than Pogba, with the Welshman possibly possessing more discipline and brings less off the field drama than the French World Cup winner. Patrick Vieira and Zlatan Ibrahimovic have also described how special Mourinho has made them feel, giving them additional confidence before stepping on to the pitch.
Mourinho will surely demand funds from the board in January to revive and revitalize the squad, with the current Arsenal midfielder being prime candidates to reinforce Manchester United's midfield. The acquisition of another one of the Gunners' most valuable assets could lift the mood amongst the United faithful and give an impetus for the rest of the squad.
