Alisson has been a regular starter at Roma since joining them in 2016. Alisson made his Roma debut in August 2016 playing a 1-1 draw with Porto in Champions League. Alisson became a regular starter in the first week of the 2017-2018 season.
He played a crucial role in guiding Roma to semi-finals of the 2017-2018 Champions league. Allison was also included in the 2017-2018 Champions League squad of the season.
Brazil coach Tite showed tremendous faith in Alisson, and he did prove that Tite was not wrong in having faith in him. Alisson had the most number of clean sheets (3) in the 2018 World Cup. Alisson was included in the Roma's starting lineup in all of 11 Champions League appearances.
With Liverpool already completing signings of Fabinho, Naby Keita and Xherdan Shaqiri, the inclusion of a talented goalkeeper like Alisson will undoubtedly boost their chances of winning the Premier League and Champions League this season.
