#2. Lucien Favre
Borussia Dortmund went through some tough times in the recent past. They were not the title challengers they used to be and lost a couple of key players in the last few seasons. Numerous managerial changes and poor results left little excitement in their games. Thomas Tuchel tried bringing back the exciting football Dortmund is known for, but his time was marred by controversies.
With Lucien Favre in the hot seat, the expectations were less. But he seems to have changed all that and grabbed everyone's attention after the last couple of months. He has managed to inject air of positivity and matched that with some inspiring football on the pitch. With Lucien Favre at the helm, Dortmund is dominating every opponent and are at the top of the world.
Another part of the new coach, which went in Dortmund's favour, was Favre's man management skills. His organizational skills and tactics have been spot on so far. His work with Gladbach is underrated but he is creating the right noise with his flying start in his adventure with Borussia Dortmund.
