Borussia Dortmund finished at an average of 20 points behind the league leaders in these past six seasons in Bundesliga. Their lack of a proper striker was more evident when Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang left the club. Their recent dealings had left them toothless upfront, but this seems to have changed this season.

Paco Alcacer was an unwanted man in Barcelona, and Dortmund grabbed their chance as they signed him on loan. Dortmund hit the jackpot as Paco Alcacer managed to repay that favour by turning into a hitman in Germany. Much to the amazement of fans and critics alike, Paco Alcacer has 12 shots on target and has converted 11 of them into goals.

The recent overflow of goals is also due to the fact that there has been a constant creation of chances from the flanks. Be it Marco Reus, Achraf Hakimi, Guerrero or Sancho, everyone managed to create huge number of chances and score due to their fearless attacking football.

It will be interesting to see whether Dortmund players will keep up their blistering start to the campaign, as Bayern Munich always find a way back to the top. But make no mistake, Dortmund are gunning for the title this season and are unstoppable in the process.
