#6 David Luiz - Chelsea
David Luiz looked to have fallen under the radar under Antonio Conte. However, he is one of the many players who has improved under the fast impact of new Chelsea head coach Maurizio Sarri.
The Brazilian has been key to Chelsea's impressive defensive display this season. While there are rumours of Antonio Rudiger getting a new contract extension, it should be Luiz who gets priority. If both parties are happy with a contract extension being offered and signed, then there's no reason why this should be prevented.
Although Luiz did flee to the French league for some time, you can't say he hasn't been a loyal Chelsea servant. He was around when Chelsea won the Champions League and the Europa League.
If he is to leave the club, then Chelsea fans will feel hard done by should he leave on a free. While the best option would be to renew his contract, if the Chelsea officials or the defender's party doesn't want that, then he should at least be sold in January.
