Australia’s Tim Cahill is known for his heading ability and fine shooting, but in the ongoing Asian Cup, he hit an inch-perfect pass to his son sitting in the stands, much to the kid’s delight.
At the Asian Cup being played in his host country, Cahill was warming up for Australia’s game against Kuwait. While the team was going back to the dressing room, he saw his child Shae in the stands, trying to get his attention and asking for a pass while jumping up and down. In response, he did something that really lit up the child’s face.
Cahill took a football and hit the ball right into his child’s hands way up in the stands, who did not even need to move to catch it. Talk about precision!
The doting father shared the video of the whole incident on his Instagram page, insisting that it was NOT a lucky shot and that he would be sharing his trick shots for Weet-Bix to prove the same.
He shared the following message along with the video:
Here's how I picked my son @shaetc17 out in the crowd before the Kuwait game. To prove that this is not a lucky shot, soon I will be sharing my @weetbixau trick shots and challenging everyone @tc4academy#TimCahillAsianCup
