van Persie equalized for Arsenal, less than 60 seconds after going down, leaving defender Mike Williamson and goalkeeper Tim Krul with no chance.
9. Thierry Henry vs Leeds United, FA Cup 3rd Round, Emirates Stadium, 9th January, W 1-0
Club legend Thierry Henry announced his re-arrival at Arsenal with a well taken goal. Onside, he took an Alex Song pass into his stride, and finished in style, to set up wild celebrations at the Emirates.
8. Per Mertesacker vs Tottenham Hotspur, Premier League, Emirates Stadium, 17th November, W 5-2
A Walcott cross from the right is met with a thumping header from a towering Per Mertesacker, whose celebrations thereafter show what the goal meant to him.
7. Laurent Koscielny vs Manchester City, Premier League, Etihad Stadium, 23rd September, D 1-1
A half cleared corner from Joleon Lescott fell right into the path of Laurent Koscielny, near the edge of the penalty box, and he rifled a shot into Joe Hart’s net.
6. Gervinho vs Chelsea, Premier League, Emirates Stadium, 29th September, L 2-1
The Ivorian collects a pass from Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain with his back to goal, and in one motion, turns and slams the ball into the top corner of the net.
5. Mikel Arteta vs Aston Villa, Premier League, Emirates Stadium, 24th March, W 3-0
Arteta added some icing on the cake with a stunning free-kick to beat Shay Given from quite a distance.
4. Santi Cazorla vs West Ham United, Premier League, Upton Park, 6th October, W 3-1
Walcott wins the ball in a tangle, and sets up Santi Cazorla, who unleashes a sweet left footed long range strike.
3. Lukas Podolski vs Montpellier, Champions League Group Stage, Emirates Stadium, 21st November, W 2-0
Podolski and Giroud play a quick one-two, before Giroud displays exceptional technique in setting up Lukas Podolski on his left foot. The German’s volley is clean and thunders past Geoffrey Jourdren.

With just 4 minutes left on the clock, Arteta beats Pizarro for the ball, and smashes in a low but powerful shot to beat Joe Hart.

van Persie added to his plaudits with a stunning strike. Beating 3 Spurs defenders who were closely marking him, and with his back to the goal, he stunned Brad Friedel with a magnificent turn and a shot with the same momentum.
