#2 Messi, Suarez, and Dembele - Barcelona
Lionel Messi has achieved everything in his career, and it is unlikely that anyone will break his records in the near future. This season, he is Barcelona's captain is leading the side by example, by scoring goals and providing assists in almost every game. Whenever Barcelona need a goal or two, he is the one who steps up.
Luis Suarez, despite turning 32 this year, has once again shown why he is considered to be among the best strikers in the world. His finishing ability is second to none and he is one of those players who put 100% effort on the pitch. As has been the case since he moved to Barcelona, he has only been overshadowed by Messi in terms of goals scored.
Ousmane Dembele's first season with Barcelona was injury-prone and he did not get the chance to prove himself. Brought in as a replacement for Neymar, his pace and dribbles this season has shown why Barcelona paid such a high price for him. He has been in amazing form this season and helped Barcelona with many decisive goals.
Messi: 25
Suarez: 16
Dembele: 8
Total: 49 Goals
#1 Neymar, Mbappe, and Cavani - Paris Saint-Germain
The most expensive front-three in club football, Neymar, Kylian Mbappe, and Edinson Cavani have been extraordinary when it comes to scoring goals and winning matches for Paris Saint-Germain. They have been dominating Ligue 1 and currently lead by 17 points at the top of the table, with a game in hand.
Even if critics suggest that Ligue 1 is easy, it is not as easy to break records on a consistent basis as these three have been doing for the past 2 seasons. With Neymar injured since last month, and Cavani also out temporarily, Mbappe has taken over the mantle of scoring the goals for the team.
The trio make up the top four in the goalscoring charts in Ligue 1, with Mbappe leading the way.
Mbappe: 22
Cavani: 17
Neymar: 13
Total: 52 Goals
