Ranking the Top 10 clubs with the highest sponsorship revenues

#2 Barcelona – €261million (43 deals)

The Catalan giants are one of the two clubs to generate more than €200 million per year in sponsorship deals. One of the followed clubs in world football, Barcelona has a yearly income of €261 million in sponsorship deals. Two of their recent biggest sponsors are Nike and Rakuten. The deal with Japanese online firm Rakuten gives them £47 million annually and a long-term contract extension with American kit manufacturers Nike gives them a huge €155 million a season.

#1 Manchester United – €269million (68 deals)

Though they are struggling on the pitch this season with some poor results, they are arguably the biggest commercial power in world football at the moment. Manchester United got a shirt sleeve sponsor early in the year when they announced a long-term partnership with US lifestyle brand Kohler. With 68 lucrative sponsorship deals, the Old Trafford club generates €269 million per year.
