Michu was termed as a bargain immediately after his 2 million pound transfer from Rayo Vallecano to Swansea City by Michael Laudrup.
Scoring 15 goals for Rayo Vallecano in the previous season, he massively enhanced his reputation at Swansea City scoring an astonishing 22 goals in the 2012-13 season with Swansea City winning the League Cup in the process. He was named the Club player of the year for 2012-13 and subsequently earned a Spanish national team call up.
The Spaniard currently plays for Spanish side UP Langreo, who participate in the autonomous community of Asturias.
