7. Cenk Tosun: Besiktas to Everton, £27m

Sam Allardyce had seemingly identified the need to bring a goalscorer into his side upon witnessing his team's performance this season. The Everton boss eventually bridged the gap by completing the signing of Turkey striker Cenk Tosun from Besiktas at a price of £27m for a four-and-a-half-year deal.

Tosun has scored 41 goals in 96 Turkish Super Lig games since the start of the 2014-15 season.Tosun has also scored eight goals for Turkey in 25 appearances.

According to Tosun, Sam Allardyce's was a key in his decision to move to Everton and will be hoping to help his side cement a top 10 place by the close of this season.
