#2 Manchester City
Pep Guardiola's well-oiled juggernaut is producing the best football on earth at the moment. After failing to win silverware last season, they have been confirmed as Premier League winners with 5 games yet to play, which happens to be their second trophy alongside the Carabao Cup this season.
Of course, their attacking prowess has been a cut above the rest, given the accuracy with which they have converted chances, but the midfield has been their telling strength this season.
Their three-man midfield consisting of Kevin De Bruyne, Fernandinho and David Silva has been at its belligerent best, carving out openings with their decisive passes and excessive use of through balls.
To complement their hard work in the middle is the trio of Sergio Aguero, Leroy Sane and Raheem Sterling at the front. The Citizens have astonishingly scored 130 times in all competitions excluding friendlies, and they have the trio to thank for it.
Just as any Guardiola team has done in the past, they have the highest percentage of possession (65.2%) amongst the best clubs, indicating the Spanish tactician's endless love for possession-based play.
Defensively, in spite of spending a fortune on defenders, City can still do better than they are doing at the moment. A certain disregard to pay attention to their defensive frailties has cost them a semi-final berth in the UEFA Champions League and the FA Cup title.

They need to become misers at the back and should they succeed, there's hardly anyone who will be able to stop the Sky Blues from laying their hands on the Champions League next season.
