9. Miroslav Klose: Bayern Munich to Lazio
Miroslav Klose was known to even the casual fans due to his exploits at multiple World Cups. His record of most goals at World Cups is yet to be broken. His scoring prowess was never in doubt but when Lazio signed him on a free transfer from Bayern Munich in 2011, many thought they were getting a player past his best.
But Klose proved the doubters wrong in the best possible way. He went on to score 63 goals in 171 appearances for Lazio before retiring in 2016 winning the Copa Italia and breaking numerous goalscoring records at the club. He became the first player in Lazio's history to score 5 goals in a single game and ended his career as the club's joint-highest foreign goalscorer.
