#4 Jordi Alba (Spain, Barcelona)
The Spaniard might be going through a rough patch of late but he still is one of the best left-backs in the world at the moment. Jordi Alba is a vital part of the Barcelona team and his partnership with Lionel Messi is one of the most dangerous combinations on a football pitch. Despite not hitting the highest of gears this season, the Spaniard has still managed 1 goal from 15 appearances for the Catalans this season.
Jordi Alba has managed just 6 starts in the La Liga this season, as injuries have caused him to miss quite a few games already for the Blaugrana. However, when fit and ready, the Spaniard has shown that he still has the abilities to wreak havoc in the final third, while being composed and assured at the back.
Alba has averaged 0.8 tackles, 1.2 interceptions and 0.8 fouls in La Liga. He has also registered 1.3 key passes and 1 dribble per game. The Spaniard is currently out with a muscle injury, but once he makes a full recovery, he still will be the first choice for the left-back role at Camp Nou. Despite being 30-years-old, Jordi Alba still is one of the best full-backs in the world at the moment.
