#4. Trent Alexander-Arnold - €117.2 million

In 21st place on the CIES list and fourth among the Liverpool players is the young Trent Alexander-Arnold.

Alexander-Arnold has established himself as Liverpool’s first-choice right-back in 2018 and he has even forced Nathaniel Clyne out of the club due to lack of regular playing time.

The England international is the fourth highest rated player from his country behind only Harry Kane, Raheem Sterling and Dele Alli. He is also placed right above England’s teenage prodigy, Jadon Sancho, who is valued at €112.6 million.

The 20-year-old whose contract runs till 2022 is also the highest rated defender in the list beating Manchester City’s Aymeric Laporte.

#3. Sadio Mane - €137.4 million

Sadio Mane is one of only two players from Senegal in the top 100 and the second highest rated player from Africa.

Mane often flew under the radar at Liverpool due to the form of Roberto Firmino and Mohamed Salah but his contributions and performance were judged aptly by the CIES team. He’s the 14th highest rated player in the list and the eight highest rated player from the Premier League.

The 26-year-old signed a new contract with Liverpool this season which keeps him at the club till 2023.
