Real Madrid 0-4 Barcelona (21 November, 2015)
Real Madrid have been on the receiving end of a lot of thrashings by Barcelona in the last decade but perhaps, this was the most embarrassing, as it came on their own turf at the Santiago Bernabeu.
Despite possessing numerous world-beaters within their ranks, the hosts could not get near the level of their opponents and Barcelona raced into a two-goal half-time lead, with goals from Luis Suarez and Neymar putting them in a comfortable lead.
Andres Iniesta made it 3-0, while Luis Suarez got his brace and the former put in such a masterclass that he became only the third Barcelona player to be given a standing ovation at the home of their eternal rivals.
The match marked the beginning of the end of Rafa Benitez' tenure as Real Madrid boss and one of the changes his replacement made was to install Casemiro in the starting lineup and this played a major role in their unprecedented success on the continent.
