Cristiano Ronaldo may be well on his way to a fifth Ballon d’Or crown but this tweet certainly wasn’t one of his better moments.
Ronaldo conducted a boys underwear competition and took to Twitter to congratulate the participants, however, this move backfired spectacularly.
He tweeted, “Thank you all for participating in the CR7 Boys Underwear Competition – it’s been a real pleasure to see all of your photos.”
It was removed immediately from Twitter but not from the football fans’ memories.
