#2 Mauricio Pochettino
Pochettino has been a long-time favorite to manage Manchester United. He is known for developing young talent into great players. He was really good at Southampton and is doing pretty decent at his current club Tottenham Hotspur as well. Players like Luke Shawn, Adam Lallana, Delle Alli & Harry Kane are among the big names who have performed great under Pochettino.
His interest in youth players could be very important at Manchester United because they have some great talents. Also, in recent years, managers at United haven't focused much on youth and as a result, the players have stalled in their development.
Appointing Pochettino will not be an easy task because teams like Real Madrid are also in the running. Moreover, it will depend on Pochettino himself. Would he want to leave Spurs to manage another big club in the same league?
Pochettino will not come cheap for Manchester United. But he could be the long-term plan that the fans want at the club. In his career, Pochettino has been a great coach but hasn't won anything much. So United could be the club which benefits both sides at the same time.
