#2 Manchester United
Manchester United have done good business this transfer window with three new additions to the team. Diego Dalot - a young right back from Porto, Fred - a Brazilian central midfielder signed from Shakhtar Donetsk, and former Stoke goalkeeper Lee Grant, have all signed for the club. Jose Mourinho has convinced Belgium midfielder Marouane Fellaini to remain at Old Trafford for another two seasons, which is a huge coup for the club, considering that he had one foot out of the door. Mourinho has done well overall.
On the outgoing front, seven players were initially released from the Reserves squad, with one of them, Joe Riley, already signed by Bradford City. Sam Johnstone secured a switch to West Brom after a fee was agreed with the Baggies, following his time on loan at Aston Villa. Mourinho has managed to retain most of his squad, although there could be a few players shuffled out, and new ones brought in by the start of the season.
However, the club will mount a serious title challenge this season and break a five-year wait for the Premier League title. Although to dethrone current holders Manchester City, United will have to be at near perfect throughout the campaign. With a packed squad, under a great manager, United will be in high spirits, heading into the season.
