Arsene Wenger has been an admirer of young talent and he didn’t miss out on this boy when he bought him from Cardiff City. He was sent on loan to gain experience and on his return to the club, he suffered a nasty injury in a match against Stoke. 2011-12 was his most successful season at the club with as many as 34 league matches.
24. Wojciech Szczesny
Club: Arsenal
Age: 22
Value: €12-15m
Szczesny was scouted from his home club Legia Warsaw from Poland. As usual, he was sent on loan to develop and once he was deemed fit to be in the first team, he was just a surprise like his name. Once Almunia and Fabianski got injured, he got a lot of first team chances, which he made the most of. With Almunia now up for sale and Fabianski’s future in doubt, it seems Szczesny has a bright future ahead.
23. Douglas Costa
Club: Shakhtar Donetsk
Age: 21
Value: €12-16m
Douglas moved to the Ukranian side in January 2010 for a €6m fee. His first season with Shakhtar wasn’t what he might have expected, with only 5 goals and another 5 next season. He has been linked with a number of English clubs with Liverpool, Arsenal and the 2 Manchester clubs ready to seize the chance to sign him.
22. Xherdan Shaqiri

Age: 20
Value: €12-18m
This kid has drawn widespread praise for his speed, both on and off the ball. He has made more than 12o appearances for his club, finding the net 21 times. He will join Bayern Munich from 1st July 2012 for a four-year contract, which was confirmed by both the clubs earlier this year in February.
21. Kyle Walker
Club: Tottenham Hotspurs

Value: €13-18m
Walker currently is in contract with Tottenham upto 2017. On 22 July 2009,Walker left Sheffield United to join Tottenham Hotspur along with fellow defender Kyle Naughton. Kyle featured permanently for Spurs during 2011-12 and his stand-out moment was when he scored the winning goal from 25 yards out against Arsenal. Walker was named as the Professional Footballers’ Association Young Player of the Year.
