Kingsley Coman, who scored the winner in the 2019-20 Champions League final, is enjoying one of his finest seasons with the record Bundesliga champions Bayern Munich.

It suffices to say the Frenchman has merely continued from where he left off in Lisbon six months ago, enjoying another season of great returns.

Coman has had his fair share of injuries and quarantine-enforced absences in the Bundesliga this season. Nevertheless, he has managed to score thrice and make nine assists, the most he has ever managed in a Bundesliga campaign.

The Frenchman scored a hat-trick of assists in Bayern Munich's 3-3 thriller against RB Leipzig in December; only two other players in the Bundesliga have managed such a feat this season.

#2 Thomas Muller (Bayern Munich) - 10 assists

Thomas Muller has made over 200+ assists for Bayern Munich in his career!

A player who doesn't need an introduction: Thomas Muller. He still rules the roost when it comes to assist-making, as he sits jointly atop the Bundesliga charts with 10 for the season.

He is second in the list only because the Bayern veteran has conjured that number in more games than the one ranked above him. Nevertheless, Muller has the epitome of class and grace in the Bundesliga all season.

The 31-year old set a new league record for assists (21) last season to surpass Kevin de Bruyne's previous mark of 20 recorded for Wolfsburg in the 2014/15 Bundesliga.

With another 14 games to go, Muller could emulate or even break his record at the end of the present league campaign.

#1 Joshua Kimmich (Bayern Munich) - 10 assists

Joshua Kimmich is just four assists short of posting his best tally in a season.

Joshua Kimmich has always impressed in Bayern Munich colours; but his performances under Hans-Dieter Flick have been on another level altogether.

A vital cog in the Bavarian juggernaut which romped to a second continental 'treble' last season, Kimmich has been on a role this campaign too.

He has registered ten Bundesliga assists in only 14 games, an impressive tally considering he missed five games because of a knee injury.

What makes his numbers even more remarkable is the fact that Kimmich is a defensive midfielder, a role he took on not too long ago after starting as a full-back.
