#4 Juventus
Juventus are one of 6 teams in this decade to have played 2 Champions League finals.
However, on both occasions Juventus fell short in the title match, losing 1-3 to Barcelona in 2015 and 1-4 to Real Madrid in 2017. Thus, they became the first team in the Champions League era to lose 5 finals (also 1997 against Borussia Dortmund, 1998 against Real Madrid, and 2003 against AC Milan).
Last season, Juventus recovered from a 0-2 first-leg deficit to beat Atletico Madrid 3-2 on aggregate, courtesy Cristiano Ronaldo's record-tying 8th hat-trick in the competition. Despite the Portugal international scoring both the Bianconeri's goals in the quarterfinals, Juventus fell to a 2-3 aggregate defeat to Ajax.

#3 Bayern Munich
In the first-ever all-German Champions League final against Borussia Dortmund in 2013, Bayern Munich won their only title in the competition during the decade. That was also the year when the Bavarian giants completed the first ever treble of domestic league, league cup and European Cup in German football.
Bayern came up short in their first two finals during the decade that was 2010-2019, losing to Internazionale in 2010 and to Chelsea in a penalty shootout in their 'home' final in 2012.
In their seven other appearances in the competition during this period, Bayern made two Round of 16 exits (2011, 2019), one quarterfinal exit (2017), and 4 semifinal exits (2014-16, 2018).
Bayern produced only the sixth perfect group-stage campaign (winning all 6 group games) in Champions League history when they won all their 6 games in the ongoing 2019-20 edition of the competition. In the process, Bayern also recorded the highest goal-difference by a Champions League group-stage winner.
