#2 Barcelona
Barcelona (114) have played the most Champions League games during the decade. The Blaugrana have been one of the most consistent teams in the competition during this period, progressing to at least the quarter-finals in each year - a run that stretches back to 2007, when they endured their last Round of 16 exit in the competition.
Barcelona won the treble of league, domestic Cup and Champions League on both occasions they reached the final (2011, 2015).
The Blaugrana are the only top 5 team in the decade to have conceded less than a goal per game (0.83) in the competition. And their 6 semi-finals during this period are only dwarfed by one other club - the one which occupies the top spot in this list.
Barcelona recorded the only Champions League comeback from 4 goals down in a knockout tie when they recovered from a 0-4 first leg reversal at Paris Germain to win 6-5 on aggregate in the 2016-17 Round of 16.
#1 Real Madrid
With 4 titles from as many finals during the decade, and 7 titles from as many finals in the Champions League era (1992-93 onwards), Real Madrid take the top spot in this list.
Madrid's 110 Champions games during 2010-2019 are second only to Barcelona (114), while their 78 match wins and 278 goals scored in the competition are the most by any team during this period.

After a 12-year wait, Madrid won their coveted La Decima in the competition in 2014 with a 4-1 extra time win over cross-town rivals Atletico Madrid. In 2016, Madrid needed a penalty shootout against the same opposition to win their 11th Champions League title.
Madrid became the first team in the Champions League era to successfully defend their title when they beat Juventus 4-1 in the 2017 final. They then made it a three-peat the following year by beating Liverpool 3-1 in the 2018 title match for their 13th and latest triumph in the competition.
