These creative players are involved in almost every goal that their team scores. Their technical ability, their vision, their dribbling ability and their ability to carve out chances out of nothing is what makes them stand out in a team.
This year, we have seen some brilliant creative players all over Europe and in this article we discuss the very best of them.
So, without further ado, here the top 5 creators from Europe's top five leagues:
Statistics used from One Football.
#5 Memphis Depay
Memphis Depay has been wonderful for Lyon in the Ligue 1 this season. Since joining Lyon from Manchester United, the 25-year-old has been nothing short of brilliant for Lyon. He has continued his rich vein of form this season as well.
This season, Depay has played everywhere in the attack from striker to number 10. But, he prefers the left wing and that's where his best performances have come from. His dribbling abilities are what make him stand out. But what struck me this season has been his ability to pick a pass. Right now, he leads the charts in Ligue 1 with 8 assists to his name and in a league that consists the likes of Angel Di Maria and Neymar, it is not pretty bad.
In terms of stats in the Ligue 1 this season, Depay has scored 5 goals and given 8 assists. He has completed 43 of his dribbles and given a total of 42 crosses with 33 percent accuracy.
#4 Cristiano Ronaldo
Cristiano Ronaldo joined Juventus from Real Madrid in a multi million deal last summer and a lot was expected off him. Right now, we van definitely say that the Portuguese Legend has lived to the fee. Cristiano Ronaldo has bee absolutely brilliant for the Old Lady this season.
Cristiano has played both as a striker and as a left winger this season. He is currently leading the charts of Serie A in terms of goals scored, which is not a surprise, but the Portuguese also leads the charts in assists which definitely comes as a surprise.
Over the years, the 34-year-old has moulded himself into a brilliant goalscorer, but this season with Juventus he has been creating chances for his teammates as well. Juventus currently sit pretty at the top of the Serie A, but the Portuguese has to be at the top of his game if Juventus are to go further into the Champions League.
In terms of stats in the Serie A this season, Ronaldo has scored 19 goals and assisted 8. He has completed 33 of his dribbles and given 47 crosses with 28 percent accuracy.
#3 Joshua Kimmich
Joshua Kimmich has been living up to his potential in Germany and has been in scintillating form this season. The 24-year-old undoubtedly has been Bayern Munich's best player so far this season.
The German is a very versatile player who can play anywhere in defense and anywhere in the midfield. Nico Kovac, the current Bayern boss has usually played him in the right-back spot, but sometimes Kimmich has also played in the midfield.
His vision is something a creative midfielder would be proud of and right now he is leading the charts of Bundesliga in terms of assists. Kimmich needs to continue his good work, if Bayern are to pip Borussia Dortmund for the Bundesliga title this season.
In terms of stats in the Bundesliga this season, Kimmich has scored 1 goal and assisted 10. He has a passing accuracy of 91 percent and has given a total of 70 crosses with 13 percent accuracy.
#2 Eden Hazard
Eden Hazard has been a player on song this season. He has been playing fantastically at times and under Maurizio Sarri's attacking philosophy, he has looked brilliant. Sarri has played Eden Hazard in two positions primarily. He has been playing either as a left winger or as a false nine through the middle. But since Gonzalo Higuain has joined Chelsea, Hazard has played through the left.
The 28-year-old has been creating chances for fun as he has been involved in 20 goals so far this season. The Belgian currently leads the assists chart in the Premier League this season. Even though his form has dipped a bit since the start of this year but still he has had a brilliant season so far. If he continues in this kind of form, Chelsea will find it hard to keep hold of their star man.
In terms of stats in the Premier League this season, Hazard has scored 12 goals and assisted 10. He has completed 85 of his dribbles and given a total of 12 crosses with 12 percent accuracy.

The little Argentine has been playing better than ever and arguably is the best in the world at the moment.
Messi has played mostly as a left winger this season who likes to drift inside and he has also played as false nine. Nevertheless, he has been creating chances wherever he plays. He has been Barcelona's best player by a country mile this season.
This season, the 31-year-old has been carrying Barcelona to victories in many matches almost singlehandedly. Currently, Messi has the most assists in La Liga and most assists in Europe's top five leagues. He also is leading the Golden Boot race this season which just tells you the form he is in this season.
