#3 Harry Kane and Son Heung-min (Tottenham Hotspur)
Tottenham Hotspur's fast start to the new 2020-21 season eventually cooled off. The side ended up finishing well below the table in the Premier League, failing to deliver in other cup competitions too.
But the striking partnership between Harry Kane and Son Heung-min stood the test of time. The prolific forwards combined excellently on numerous occasions throughout the campaign and bagged a number of goals.
There were doubts over Kane's future at the club, with persistent links to Manchester City doing the rounds in the summer. But it all died down eventually and the 28-year-old stayed put, which means another season of this enticing English-South Korean combo.
#2 Cristiano Ronaldo and Bruno Fernandes (Manchester United)
Two relentless goalscorers. Two exceptional penalty-takers. Two Portuguese magnificos. Cristiano Ronaldo and Bruno Fernandes are two of the most important figures in Selecao's national side, but have now struck up a partnership at Manchester United following Ronaldo's fairytale return to Old Trafford.
The 36-year-old is no stranger to the Premier League, having enjoyed six glorious years before moving to Real Madrid. He has now started his second spell with a bang, netting twice on his second league debut before scoring in the Champions League.
Fernandes has got the new season off to a flyer too with four goals and one assist in five games. The most recent contribution was for the prolific number seven himself with a sublime outside-of-the-boot cross against Young Boys.
The pair have clicked alright on the club front and looked deadly. Lots more goals and assists to come from them for sure, which will also hopefully translate into title-glory for the Red Devils.
#1 Lionel Messi and Neymar (Paris Saint-Germain)
This isn't a new partnership either. In fact, it's soaked in history. The pair, as everyone recalls very well, joined forces at Barcelona when the Brazilian arrived at the club in 2013.
Over the next four years, the South American stars took the world by storm along with Luis Suarez, the third piece of their famous all-conquering triumvirate.
There were questions about whether Messi and Neymar could play together given their similar traits. But they turned out fine, playing on either side of the wings with the Uruguayan bulldozing from the center.
Together, the amazing duo scored 299 goals between them, much to the excitement of their fans. They have reunited at PSG following the Argentine's shock exit from Barcelona.
Add Kylian Mbappe to the equation too and we have another devastating attacking partnership ready to take the world by storm.
