#3 Andre Silva (RB Leipzig)
Andre Silva had his breakthrough 2020-21 Bundesliga campaign and announced himself to the footballing world. The Portuguese hitman has always been considered a promising talent ever since his days as a youngster at Porto.
However, after failed spells at AC Milan and Sevilla, Silva looked like he was never going to realize his potential. But last season changed everything for the 25-year old and he is now going into the 2021-22 season as one of the most feared hitmen in the league.
Silva finished second in the race for the Golden Boot last season, scoring 28 goals in 32 league games for Eintracht Frankfurt. His exploits earned him a transfer to Bundesliga runner-up RB Leipzig.
With a better side around him, it is hard to imagine Andre Silva not being a part of the conversation for the Bundesliga Golden Boot in the 2021-22 campaign.
#2 Erling Haaland (Borussia Dortmund)
Erling Haaland has been one of the world's best strikers since joining Borussia Dortmund back in 2020. The Norwegian has lit up the Bundesliga and has one of the best scoring records in world football.
Haaland scored 27 league goals last season, taking his tally to 60 goals in 60 games for Borussia Dortmund across all competitions. It's scary to think that the forward is still only just 21-years-old.
Haaland has all the attributes to become one of the greatest strikers of all time, and is on track to break multiple scoring records in his career. Haaland should be a strong favourite to win the Bundesliga Golden Boot in the 2021-22 season.
#1 Robert Lewandowski (Bayern Munich)
Robert Lewandowski is undoubtedly the best striker of the last decade and one of the greatest strikers of all time.
The Polish hitman has been the scourge of Bundesliga defenses for the last decade, winning his fourth consecutive Golden Boot for Bayern Munich in the 2020-21 season. With six to his name, Lewandowski is on course to surpass Gerd Muller's seven Golden Boot wins.
Last season, Lewandowski broke Muller's Bundesliga goal record for a single season with 41 goals in 29 league appearances for Bayern Munich. The Pole has to be the clear-cut favourite to win the Golden Boot again in the 2021-22 campaign and one wouldn't put it past him to outdo his own scoring record from last season.
At 32, Lewandowski is reaching the twilight of his illustrious career and when it's all said and done, he is sure to go down as the greatest Bundesliga striker of all time.
