Branislav Ivanovic is all about strength. He is perhaps the best full back in terms of defensive attributes. What makes him so good is his tough and uncompromising nature. Not only is he very precise with his tackling, he also happens to be very good in the air and plays a major role in set pieces at both ends of the pitch. He has scored many crucial goals for Chelsea over the years including the winner against Napoli a couple of seasons back, the winner in last season’s Europa league final and the winner against Manchester city last week. He made his 250th appearance for Chelsea yesterday which is a testimony of his importance to the club.
