#4 Niclas Fullkrug - Werder Bremen
Niclas Fullkrug’s presence adds a lot of width in the Hannover side as the 25-year-old is known for his attacking style of play. His biggest strengths are his ability to run through defences with his lightning pace and his ability to exploit the gaps in the opposition’s defence with his darting forays.
Fullkrug’s finishing looked much more composed than it was last season, while he also looked a smooth operator during set pieces.
The striker was equally good during aerial duels. Hannover 96 manager Thomas Schaaf had claimed that Niclas Fullkrag’s ability to give his 100% on the field always motivates his teammates to do well during demanding situations. The enterprising striker looked threatening throughout the season because of his speed and control.
He scored 14 goals in 34 games in the 2017-18 Bundesliga season with 3 assists to his name. Niclas Fullkrug was simply outstanding against Hertha Berlin in May. He scored a goal and provided 1 assist in that game. Hannover subsequently won that game 3-1.
