#1 Alexis Sanchez (£500,000 per week)
Chilean winger Alexis Sanchez became the steal of the season when he joined Manchester United in a straight swap deal involving Henrikh Mkhitaryan in January.
The 29-year-old is a fantastic playmaker capable of creating a plethora of chances for his fellow attackers. Apart from his sublime passing skills, he is also a tactically flexible footballer, capable of functioning in almost every attacking position on the pitch. However, he usually functions as a left winger or a secondary striker in games.
Alexis's arrival has strengthened the Red Devils but it remains to be seen whether the Chilean can cope with the pressure that comes with wearing the famous number 7 shirt at Old Trafford. Added to that, he also has to handle the burden of proving himself worthy of being the Premier League's highest paid player.
Of course, he has all the abilities to be successful, but only time will tell whether he succeeds in fulfilling the expectations of the United faithful.
