#3 Mikel Arteta vs Manchester City, Emirates Stadium, 2012
Manchester City completed an incredible league title win back in 2011-12 when they won the league on goal difference and in that regard, it must be said that the game against Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium in April had a lot to do with it. Even if they had escaped with a draw, they would not have needed that dramatic victory on the final day of the season.
That being said, Arsenal gave the eventual champions a bloody nose on that April afternoon with a superb display, that was eventually capped off with an accurate long-range strike from Mikel Arteta in the 87th minute of the game.
Arsenal had threatened to take the lead throughout the course of the game but a goal remained elusive for them and it was not until the bitter end of the game that their summer recruit Mikel Arteta's strike put the game beyond Mancini's Manchester City. It was a long-range strike but so precise that Joe Hart simply had no answer. It remains one of Arsenal's most impressive last-gasp wins.
