#4 Destroying Arsenal (2010)
On April 6, 2010, Messi scored a first half hat-trick as Barcelona demolished Arsenal 4-1 in the second leg of the UEFA Champions League last 16 played at Camp Nou. Messi was on target in the 27th, 37th, 42nd and 88th minute in a four-goal show. Arsenal had taken a surprise lead through Nicklas Bendtner in the 18th minute before it became a Messi affair.
It was his goal three minutes to the break that would get any footballer ripe with envy. Seydou Keita headed a through ball to his path and he ran at the heart of the Arsenal defence before calmly lifting the ball past Manuel Alimunia who had rushed off his line. Arsenal simply had no solution to stopping him on the night
#3 Barcelona 3 Bayern Munich 0 (2015)
Barcelona hosted Bayern Munich on May 6, 2015 at Camp Nou. Again, it was Messi who produced the goods after facing a stubborn defence set up by the German side. He opened the scoring from the edge of the penalty area with a low shot in the 77th minute. His second goal was a thing of beauty three minutes later.
He turned centre back Jerome Boateng inside out in the box, left him for dead before hitting a clever dink past the big frame of Manuel Neuer in goal. What made it even more special is that he managed to finish with his weaker right foot from such an angle. Neymar rounded up the scoring in injury time.
