#3 Michel Owen
Regarded as one of the best players to have ever come through Liverpool's youth academy, Micheal Owen is number three on our list. The former England international scored 118 goals for the club in 216 games.
Micheal Owen made his senior debut in 1997 but established himself as a first-team regular only in 1998. He won Liverpool's Top Scorer of the Season award for 7 consecutive seasons and was also the Premier League's top scorer for the 1997-98 and the 1998-99 seasons.
He stayed in Liverpool for eight seasons before moving to the Spanish giants, Real Madrid in 2004. But he could not replicate his Anfield magic at the Bernabeu and therefore got transferred to Newcastle United after a season.
He then went on to have brief spells with Manchester United and Stoke City before finally retiring from professional football in 2013.
