The Liverpool legend was often considered the best midfielder in the league during his peak days. Best known for his leadership qualities, techniques and the ability to score goals from distance, Gerrard won the Liverpool Player of the Season four times. He was also awarded the UEFA Club Footballer of the Year award in 2005 along with the Ballon d'Or Bronze Award.
The former Liverpool captain is the only footballer in history to score in an FA Cup Final, a League Cup Final, a UEFA Cup Final and a UEFA Champions League Final, winning on each occasion.
Gerrard ended his career with the MLS side, LA Galaxy and is working as a youth coach for Liverpool's U18.
