#3 Thierry Henry (44 Premier League goal contributions)
Thierry Henry, a member of the Invicibles' Arsenal squad, is said to be one of the greatest players in Premier League history. He remains the only EPL player to score 20+ goals and provide 20+ assists in a season and win four Golden boots.
Henry's 24 goals and 20 assists came in his fourth season with Arsenal but sadly that did not earn him the Golden Boot. He was edged by Ruud Van Nistelrooy who scored 25 goals. Henry still went on to become the recipient of both the PFA Player of the Year and FWA Footballer of the Year awards.
The French international scored seven goals in the UCL and a goal in the FA Cup, taking his tally to a total of 32 goals in all competitions.
#2 Andrew Cole (47 Premier League goal contributions)
The iconic Andrew Cole had a massive goal contribution of 34 goals and 13 assists in the 1993-1994 season.
Cole became the first player to have the highest goals and assists in the same season. His brilliant goals allowed Newcastle to finish third in the EPL and qualify for the Europa League for the first time in two decades. He scored a total of 41 goals in 45 matches in all competitions.
Despite leaving Newcastle for Manchester United during the winter transfer window the following season, he managed to score nine goals in 18 matches. This means he played a total of 58 Premier League for Newcastle, netting 43 goals.
#1 Alan Shearer (47 Premier League goal contributions)
Alan Shearer is regarded as the greatest Premier League player ever. With 260 goals, Shearer is the EPL's all-time record goalscorer.
He also had 441 appearances in a career spanning 14 years. Shearer's goal contributions of 34 goals and 13 assists was achieved in the 1994-1995 season. His sublime performance allowed his team Blackburn Rovers to win the EPL title. Shearer also won the Golden Boot in conjunction with the EPL Player of the Year award.
