He has had a couple of loan spells with Valencia and Alaves over the previous 2 campaigns. Although his Valencia stint could be argued to be not so inspiring, he did have a good season for a struggling Alaves, involved in 16 goals in 33 appearances in the league (10 goals, 6 assists). The La Masia graduate who was promoted to the team in the 2014-15 campaign by Luis Enrique from Barcelona 'B' squad has found it tough to break into the first-team given the array of stars who are ever present in the Barcelona attack.
Primarily a centre-forward, he can also play on the wings and will be a bargain for any mid-table team given that he is only 23 and is bound to improve.
