Gabriel Heinze is a retired Argentine defender who plied his trade at various top European clubs during his playing career.

Heinze spent 3 seasons at PSG from 2001-2004, amassing over 100 appearance for the club where he became a mainstay of the defense. His only trophy with the club, however, was a solitary Coupe de France in the 2003-04 season.

Heinze would go on to play at Real Madrid, after 3 years with Manchester United, where he helped Real win the La Liga title in 2007-08, making 20 appearances in the league. He spent one more season at the club before moving on.
