#3 RB Leipzig's woeful defense to be a concern
After their managerial change, RB Leipzig are yet to get back to their very best. They seem to lack the organization which has made them a force to reckon with in the Bundesliga in recent years. Losing their star defender, Dayot Upamecano, to rivals Bayern Munich has also weakened their defensive strength.
Leipzig have conceded eight goals in their two UEFA Champions League games so far this campaign. While the German team have shown that they are a free scoring side, their defenders are not up to the mark. Their flaws in defense were utilized by opponents as they conceded six against Manchester City and two goals against Club Brugge, as both matches ended in defeat.
Leipzig will hope for a change in their fortunes in Europe but it will be a mammoth task to keep a clean sheet against PSG.
#2 Lionel Messi, Neymar and Kylian Mbappe to be unstoppable for PSG
PSG stunned the world by securing the services of Lionel Messi in the summer, uniting the Argentine with Neymar and Kylian Mbappe in their attack. The dream trio of Messi, Neymar and Mbappe have been the talk of the season due to their individual prowess.
Kylian Mbappe has been in scintillating form this campaign, demonstrating his caliber in PSG's 2-1 win against Angers. The French forward assisted one goal and scored another to seal the comeback win. Meanwhile, Leo Messi and Neymar are still far from their best and have yet to show their full potential this season.
Although their chemistry is not at its very best for now, the individual brilliance of the front three is enough to wreak havoc on the pitch. All three of them can change the tie in the blink of an eye and it is likely that Leipzig won't be able to stop them.
#1 PSG to make a statement against Leipzig
On paper, no squad can match the firepower of La Parisien in the football world. PSG boast enormous strength and depth to see off any challenge from any opponent. Considering Leipzig's form at the moment, it would be a shock if they could secure a point from the match in Paris.
With the likes of Messi, Neymar and Marquinhos back in the squad, Pochettino would like a powerful display against Leipzig, just as they did against Manchester City. PSG's defense would be wise to focus on Nkunku, who has been superb this campaign.
Leipzig will definitely try their best to pose a serious threat to PSG. Despite that, our prediction is that PSG will see off Leipzig's challenge quite comfortably.
