In the last 4 years, Chelsea has won 2 Premier League titles. Still, despite having a strong squad last season, Chelsea looked like a shadow of their original self. They finished 5th in the league that means they didn't qualify for UEFA Champions League and will be competing in UEFA Europa league.
Key Player: Eden Hazard
In 2012, Chelsea Signed the Belgian prodigy, Eden Hazard. Since then, the Belgian is performing consistently for the London side. He is been one of the major reason for their success in the last 4 years.
Hazard had a remarkable World Cup Campaign leading his side to the semi-finals of the World Cup. He would be looking carry his World Cup form in the new season.
Chelsea sacked their current manager Antonio Conte before the start of the new season as he was unable to deliver the success that Chelsea's board and fans were hoping last season. Now that Conte is replaced by another Italian manager Maurizio Sarri, he will have to work hard to bring back the success to The Blues.
Though the London side looks steady after winning their opening 3 games and placed 3rd in the league below Liverpool and Tottenham only on goal difference.
