#2 Raphael Varane
A World Cup winner and a proven centre back, almost any club in Europe would be interested in the French International's signature. He and Sergio Ramos have formed a formidable partnership at the back for Madrid and he has won a total of 16 trophies with Madrid since arrival at in 2011 as an 18-year-old.
Reports suggest that Varane wants an exit from Madrid in the summer in look for a new challenge. Manchester United are the forerunners for his signature but signing him won’t be easy since he still has a few more years left on his contract and to sign him, a club would certainly have to break the previous record set by Liverpool for a transfer fee on a defender. Still only 25 years old, Varane can still offer play at the highest level for quite a few more years. He has a transfer market value of about 80 million Euros.
