#1 Daniel Carvajal
After a scintillating display against Dortmund in September, the defender suffered a heart disease which could potentially have ended his career.
However, the player fought his way into fitness and reclaimed the credential of being the best right-back in the world. Carvajal, despite a poor start to the 2017/18 campaign, is a class apart from other defenders.
He has made 36 appearances this season where he has provided six assists, in all competitions so far. The Spanish defender has created 32 chances in his 22 league outings.
His passing accuracy is 86% and shooting accuracy at a mammoth 60%. Carvajal has an average pass length of 17 meters and takes four defensive actions per game, domestically.
The player's form would be key to Real's Champions League hopes this May as they brace up to face some quality attacks from now on.
