Nicknamed 'Der Bomber' for his prolific goal-scoring prowess, Gerd Müller scored a staggering 365 goals in 427 games between 1965-66 to 1978-79, at an impressive 0.85 goals per game, for Bayern Munich.

This is the highest goal tally scored by a player for a single club in Bundesliga history. Müller's goal tally of 365 is almost 100 goals better than the Bundesliga's second highest goal scorer.
The diminutive Müller won the 'kicker Torjägerkanone' on a record seven occasions (1966-67, 1968-69, 1969-70, 1971-72, 1972-73, 1973-74 and 1977-78).
The Nördlingen-born Müller won all his four Bundesliga titles for Bayern Munich. His 40 goals in the 1971-72 season is the highest single-season goal tally in the competition's history.
Der Bomber won the European Cup for Germany in 1972 and the World Cup in 1974. His 68 international goals in 62 games for Germany came at better than a goal per game.
