If anyone is having a breakout season in Serie A, it has to be Colombian striker Duvan Zapata. He has been in Italy for five years, but it is only this season that the player has found his feet in the competition.
He spent some time in the Argentinean top-flight with Estudiantes for two seasons and his performances were turning heads across the footballing world and subsequently, he started attracting a lot of attention, especially from Europe.
Napoli sealed his transfer in 2013, but after sporadic starts, he was shipped off on two different loan spells in the following years, before being sold to Sampdoria last year, who loaned him off to Atalanta in the same transfer window.
And come this season, he has scored 19 goals in Serie A, as much as Juventus star Cristiano Ronaldo and is only behind Fabio Quagliarella in the top-scorers list.
He has been instrumental for the club this season and was the two-goal hero in the quarter-final of Coppa Italia, as they knocked out the holders, Juventus in a fixture that ended in a 3-0 win for the former.
