#5 Fabio Quagliarella
Fabio Quagliarella is enjoying the best form of his playing career at the age of 36. A Naples native, he is the current top-scorer in the Serie A, outscoring the likes of well-established finishers like - Ronaldo, Mertens, Icardi and Dzeko.
He has spent his entire playing career in Italy, winning three consecutive Serie A titles from the 2011–2012 to the 2013–14 season with Juventus, for whom he did not start regularly.
Though the player had made appearances for the Italy national team in major competitions including - EURO 2008 and the 2010 FIFA World Cup, he had to wait for almost another decade, before he could play for Azzurri again.
After firing home 21 goals in the Serie A, which included an 11-game scoring streak, a record previously achieved in Serie A only by Gabriel Batistuta, it was only natural for Roberto Mancini to bolster his squad for the EURO 2020 qualifiers by naming him in the starting XI.
He has rolled back the years with his exploits in front of the goals and proved that age is just a number for him.
