#1 Pierre Emerick-Aubameyang
Time and time again, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has proved himself to be one of the best strikers in Europe. Wherever he’s been, the Gabonese international has scored an abundance of goals. Since arriving in England, the 30-year-old has impressively scored 40 goals in 61 PL appearances.
Despite playing in a struggling Arsenal side, Aubameyang has already scored 8 goals in 12 appearances, averaging a goal every 135 minutes. If he’s managed to produce that output without Mesut Özil or a creative force behind him, imagine what he’ll do when the Gunners actually start playing like a cohesive team.
Having been made club captain due to Granit Xhaka’s recent spat with the fans, it’s clear that Aubameyang will continue to be the focal point of Arsenal’s attack this season. And if the Gunners have any chance of finishing in the top 4, they’ll need the explosive forward to maintain his current strike rate.
