#3 Wilfred Ndidi (Leicester City)
The Nigerian international has sparkled since arriving at the King Power Stadium in January and currently one of Premier League's best defensive midfielders. The 21-year-old moved to Leicester City in a £17 million transfer deal and has successfully filled the void left by the departure of N'Golo Kante.
With 83 tackles, Ndidi has made more successful tackles than anyone in the Premier League this season. In 20 appearances so far this season, Ndidi assisted 3 goals and has made 40 accurate long balls.
He possesses excellent ball-winning skills, is extremely good in the air, and is a great asset at set-pieces. His energy and discipline make him a valuable player to Craig Shakespeare. In his short tenure at the King Power Stadium, Ndidi showed that he has the potential to become a true world-class defensive midfielder.
