#2 Dixie Dean (Everton) - 19 goals
A former England centre-forward, Dean began his career at Tranmere Rovers in 1923 and spent two seasons at the club. In 1925, Dean oped to move to Everton and spent the next dozen years of his playing career with the Blue half of Merseyside.
A prolific goalscorer with his feet and head, Dean managed to notch 349 goals in 399 appearances for the club over 12 years. During his career, 19 of those goals were scored against arch-rivals Liverpool.
With 19 goals in Merseyside derbies, Dean was top of the list for highest goals in the derby for a long time before it was surpassed and beaten. A legendary figure at the club, Dixie Dean also won 16 caps for the national team and scored 18 times for England between 1927-32.
