The Gabon International saw a slight dip in his goal scoring antics in the month of January, and the competition at the top is so stiff that he had to surrender his pole position to a familiar foe. Aubameyang started the new year on a high, scoring one goal in a 4-1 win over Fulham. He drew a blank in both of the next games - a defeat away to West Ham and a victory over Chelsea at home.

But he was back among the goals last weekend, scoring one and setting up the other in a narrow 2-1 win over Cardiff City. As of now, the Gunner No. 14 has scored 15 goals from 24 games in the Premier League and is just a goal behind the man at the top of the list.
Aubameyang has registered 50 shots so far and 27 of those have been on target. He is averaging a goal every 128 minutes played and with Kane injured, will have the chance to mount the pressure at the top of the table.

Inspired by Diego Maradona, Deepungsu played as an attacking midfielder for his local club at subdivision level in his initial years and scored an important goal or two. However, his all-time favorite footballer is Lionel Messi, and evidently, he feels Argentina's glory in 2022 is his favorite FIFA World Cup moment for fulfilling his long-standing dream. He is also an ardent East Bengal fan.
Deepungsu has been a Manchester United supporter since the year 2000. Unsurprisingly, his favorite manager is Sir Alex Ferguson and the Scotsman helped him get through some of the toughest days of his life. Like the fiery Scot, Deepungsu also leaves no stone unturned when it comes to accuracy in articles and only relies on credible sources.
Despite believing in Kylian Mbappe and Erling Haaland to create an iconic rivalry, Deepungsu reckons no one can match the longevity of Messi and Ronaldo. He spends his leisure time writing about life on his blog, reading books, and playing the guitar.
