The Englishman is never too far away from the Golden Boot race. However, the start of the season had been inauspicious for the 2018 World Cup Golden Boot winner and Harry had watched in frustration as his competitors had taken the lead in the race to the Premier League Golden Boot.
And he has mounted a fierce comeback in December, scoring 5 goals in 6 games since our last assessment and is now level with the other two players at the top of the table. Only an inferior goal per minute ratio has seen him start the month at third in this list - Harry averages a goal every 132 minutes, marginally less than the men ahead of him.

He started the month by scoring against Arsenal in the disappointing 4-2 defeat. He scored again in the very next game against Southampton, before failing to score in the next two ties against Leicester and Burnley. But Harry has since picked up the pace, scoring 4 goals in his last 3 games, including a brace against Everton.
The English Striker has attempted 64 shots so far, with 32 of them on target. However, he has also missed 8 big chances, which has hurt him in the race. Harry Kane now has 13 goals from 20 appearances and at the start of the new year, he is 3rd among the top contenders for the Premier League Golden Boot.

Inspired by Diego Maradona, Deepungsu played as an attacking midfielder for his local club at subdivision level in his initial years and scored an important goal or two. However, his all-time favorite footballer is Lionel Messi, and evidently, he feels Argentina's glory in 2022 is his favorite FIFA World Cup moment for fulfilling his long-standing dream. He is also an ardent East Bengal fan.
Deepungsu has been a Manchester United supporter since the year 2000. Unsurprisingly, his favorite manager is Sir Alex Ferguson and the Scotsman helped him get through some of the toughest days of his life. Like the fiery Scot, Deepungsu also leaves no stone unturned when it comes to accuracy in articles and only relies on credible sources.
Despite believing in Kylian Mbappe and Erling Haaland to create an iconic rivalry, Deepungsu reckons no one can match the longevity of Messi and Ronaldo. He spends his leisure time writing about life on his blog, reading books, and playing the guitar.
