The Frenchman returns to the race after a fantastic month of February. He started the month on the losing side, as Arsenal were defeated away to Manchester City. Alexandre Lacazette started the game but failed to score. He made amends in the very next game though, scoring the winning goal against Huddersfield.
Lacazette was in the starting eleven once again last weekend, against Southampton and he scored once more. In the midweek game against Bournemouth, Emery opted to keep him on the bench, probably with fatigue in mind. He came on for the last 26 minutes and scored from a delicious free kick!
The Frenchman ended the month with 3 goals from 4 games, a form that earned him a place in this list. Lacazette now has 12 goals from 27 games and is 8th among the top contenders for the Premier League Golden Boot at the start of March. He has registered 47 shots so far, 25 of which have been on target and is averaging a goal every 153 minutes played.

Inspired by Diego Maradona, Deepungsu played as an attacking midfielder for his local club at subdivision level in his initial years and scored an important goal or two. However, his all-time favorite footballer is Lionel Messi, and evidently, he feels Argentina's glory in 2022 is his favorite FIFA World Cup moment for fulfilling his long-standing dream. He is also an ardent East Bengal fan.
Deepungsu has been a Manchester United supporter since the year 2000. Unsurprisingly, his favorite manager is Sir Alex Ferguson and the Scotsman helped him get through some of the toughest days of his life. Like the fiery Scot, Deepungsu also leaves no stone unturned when it comes to accuracy in articles and only relies on credible sources.
Despite believing in Kylian Mbappe and Erling Haaland to create an iconic rivalry, Deepungsu reckons no one can match the longevity of Messi and Ronaldo. He spends his leisure time writing about life on his blog, reading books, and playing the guitar.
