Sadio Mane started the new season on hot form, scoring a brace in his first game, as a part of Liverpool’s 4-0 demolition of West Ham. He scored in his very next game against Crystal Palace and then drew a blank against Brighton. However, he opened the scoring against Leicester in the game after and that was the last time he scored in the Premier League. The Senegalese has not scored in his last 3 games in the Premier League and in his last 5 games in all competitions, but Mane should not be too worried.

Last season, Mane finished with 10 goals from 29 games and he already looks set to better that record this year. He has registered 19 shots so far, with 11 of them on target. His goals to game ratio is a modest 0.57. The Senegalese has also hit the woodwork once already.
Even with the advent of new players at Anfield, Mane remains an important part of Klopp’s tactics and the German manager will be hoping that his star man will hit at least double figures in goals again.

Inspired by Diego Maradona, Deepungsu played as an attacking midfielder for his local club at subdivision level in his initial years and scored an important goal or two. However, his all-time favorite footballer is Lionel Messi, and evidently, he feels Argentina's glory in 2022 is his favorite FIFA World Cup moment for fulfilling his long-standing dream. He is also an ardent East Bengal fan.
Deepungsu has been a Manchester United supporter since the year 2000. Unsurprisingly, his favorite manager is Sir Alex Ferguson and the Scotsman helped him get through some of the toughest days of his life. Like the fiery Scot, Deepungsu also leaves no stone unturned when it comes to accuracy in articles and only relies on credible sources.
Despite believing in Kylian Mbappe and Erling Haaland to create an iconic rivalry, Deepungsu reckons no one can match the longevity of Messi and Ronaldo. He spends his leisure time writing about life on his blog, reading books, and playing the guitar.
